She said yes

Our buddy Pat (from the Dunlop Devils) proposed to his girl during the Peter Pan Speedrock gig we attended yesterday. The date was carefully picked as it was his birthday and the day they were together for two years. The boys from PPSR gladly let him use the stage for a minute to pop the question. And of course she said yes! We wish them all the best and many happy years together!

Queens day party Eindhoven Rock City style! That's april 30 for those of you not familiar with Dutch Queensday traditions. With the hotrods and kustom cars of the Trashers Car Club (mis-spelled on the poster) and lots of great bands from Eindhoven Rock City and beyond.

The weather was real nice yesterday, about time for a top down drive across the estate.

easy as ABC

Our friend Ronald left for the Gambia again today. He teamed up up with his old man this time to steer a Pajero through northern Africa as part of the Antwerp Banjul Challenge (ABC). Once they get to Banjul, the car will be donated to charity and they fly back. We helped him out with some spare wheels and tires, a battery and jerrycans. We hope he and his father will have a great trip together and have as much fun as we had a few years back!
Still can't believe we actually ate kroketten in Gambia, thanks for the tip Ronald and be sure to treat yourself to one when you finish!
