Russ DeBarr is one of our good friends from the UK. He was with us the whole weekend and made some pretty awesome pictures of the whole Rockin' Jalopy's Motorama experience. These were made before and after the show en route to the Autotron and setting up at the show. Cool stuff. Hope to be posting more of RDB's work in the future.
Rockin' Jalopy's Motorama 2010 was a total blast ! The cars, the bikes, old friends, new ones, good vibes and a lot of happy customers ! Thanks to everyone who visited our booth, your interest in our projects and products is highly appreciated ! And now, if you don't mind, we're off to the garage again, summer is here before you know it and we wanna get those bikes of ours ready if you don't mind !
It's only ten more days 'till the second Rockin' Jalopy's Motorama will take place in the Autotron in Rosmalen, Netherlands. Mark your calendars now, if you haven't already; November 20 and 21 2010. Come and check out what the Dutch hotrod and kustom scene has to offer. Much more than just cars, there's also bikes, lowbrow art, pinstriping, vendors and beer. In the other section of the Autotron, there'll be a large oldtimer swap meet going on, which is a nice place to find some vintage parts for your hotrod, bike or restoration project. For the participants, the real fun starts in the evenings when the doors close for the public, 'cause we're all staying at the adjacent holiday park there's no need to party slow...
This Plymouth arrived in Rod City only a couple of weeks ago. Tonight at the Trashers' club night we'll find out if it's running now. Last week it seemed that the previous owner undid all the water taps when storing it, to prevent the engine from freezing up. So by now al the plugs should be shut, coolant filled, oil changed, all the wires hooked up and the battery charged ?! And it'll become clear if it'll be ready to be driven to the Rockin' Jalopy's Motorama in less than two weeks.
After having to wait a couple of weeks on his funds to arrive, a very stoked Jan was finally able to come and pick up the El Camino today. Have fun and take care!
Passed the tech inspection today, without any problems or remarks. 
Following up on last mondays Bubble Top post, here some picture of the Predicta from the bubble top king Darryl Starbird. Totally dig the upholstery, tv and fully functioning tiller steering as well. Pictures taken at his National Rod & Custom Car Hall Of Fame Museum in Afton Oklahoma. We also got to see him working on another custom car in his garage a few yards from the hall of fame; he's still at it!
