Fuck paint

Even the Flake Kings share the opinion that original patina is just as cool as a wicked metalflake paintjob. The Grease & Ink Garage's Mercury just has "the look". And don't even think about artificially replicating this look, it won't work! Besides that, the Merc is lowered to the max and airbag assisted in the rear, with lowered fenderskirts. And still, changing a tire along the autobahn only takes 3 minutes. The all new color matching vinyl interior was covered with cheapass panther print bedsheets, "because it looked to good". And since a disappointing (in his own mind, we loved it) result during a drunk engine noise contest with 400BC prehistorian, it now got a bunch of mad and loud groundscraping side exit zoomie looking pipes! And when there's a crowd blocking the view, the roof can be used as vista point. Sounds like a guy who knows how to party, who doesn't give a fuck? Damn right! Looking forward to the next time with the Grease & Ink party squad.

Screamin' Festival 2010 Pineda de Mar

Two weeks ago we were in Spain for -among other things- the Screamin' Festival. Though we had to head home early due to other obligations, we stayed just long enough to enjoy the start of the car show on Saturday afternoon. Remarkably, I don't think any other region in Europe has so many car clubs like Catalunya! We're already benchracing about going back to Spain more often for such events, but with a more appropriate means of transportation. We might even go by bike...
